Astana Media Week 2023
Dear Colleagues! We are pleased to invite you to take part in Astana Media Week 2023, which will take place from September 20 to 22 at Kazmedia Ortalygy. As part of the media week “MEDIA POWER: TRENDS, CHANGES, ETHICS”, leading media industry experts from Kazakhstan and abroad will discuss the current challenges faced by traditional media in the context of a rapidly changing media environment. The event will discuss ways to build media work in the near future, regulation of the blogosphere in the media legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ethics and responsibility in the information space, digital literacy and data protection. In addition, all guests will be able to participate in the Content Market exhibition, open and closed pitching sessions, as well as the MediaQuiz interactive event. Astana Media Week 2023 will also include a Regional Media Forum, an informal Media Talks conference and a digital exhibition by Yulia Yuka Kravchenko. The event will end with the ceremonial awarding of the winners of the National Award in the field of print, radio, and online journalism “Urker” 2023. Our 22 floors are more than just a building, they are a place where we turn ideas into reality, create engaging content, and deliver broadcasts that unite our country. Dear Kazakhs, we congratulate everyone on Abay Day!
August 10 is the day of the Great Abay! Abay Kunanbayev is a Kazakh poet, composer, educator, thinker, public figure, the founder of Kazakh written literature and its first classic, a reformer of culture in the spirit of rapprochement with European culture based on enlightened Islam. Abai’s progressive views, possessing humanistic and educational ideals, are especially relevant today. “Only reason, science, will, conscience raise a person” – these and other words of Abaya became important. Abai is the author of more than 170 poems and 56 translations. Several poems and “words of instruction” were born from his pen. Thanks to Abaya’s translations, classic works of world literature were published in Kazakh language. Dear Folks, we congratulate everyone on Abay Day!
Team building of employees of «Kazmedia ortalygy»
In order to increase cohesion and form a team spirit, employees of «Kazmedia ortalygy» in the recreation area «Jansaya resort» took part in an offsite team building. Interesting sports and intellectual games were held as part of a corporate event in the open air. During the event, employees of «Kazmedia ortalygy», distinguished by their hard work, diligence, were awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, diplomas and letters of thanks from the Partnership, and special prizes. Team building gave everyone a lot of wonderful emotions, impressions, activities, everyone was happy to take part in team building games. The event helped to reveal the strong and special qualities of all our employees, rallied the team. Team building allowed the Partnership’s employees to get to know each other better, show a certain level of trust, and trust is the basis for successful cooperation.

The national television award«Tumar-2023»
On July 4, 2023, the national television award “Tumar-2023” will be held at the TV and radio complex “Kazmedia Ortalygy”. This year, the television project celebrates 7 years since the first release. For the first time, the national award “Tumar” was established in 2017 at the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main goal of the award is to stimulate the development of the Kazakhstani television industry through the prism of assessment by the professional community. The award will be awarded in 12 categories: – Best information program – The best social project – Best Investigative Journalism – Best analytics program – Best Talk Show – Best entertainment program – Best TV reporter – Best TV presenter – The best sports commentator (Special award named after Amankeldi Seythanov) – The best regional TV channel – Best documentary film (Kamal Smayylov Special Prize) – Best Animated Film (Amen Kaydarov Special Award) The names of the winners will be announced at the event. In addition to an elegant amulet figurine, the winners will receive one 1,000,000 million tenge for their contribution to the development of Kazakhstani television.
Presentation of the company «Telos Alliance» in the field of sound transmission to television
The technical directorate of “Kazmedia Ortalygy” organized a presentation of the company “Telos Alliance” for employees and partners of the TV center, in the field of sound transmission to television. At the presentation, the experts demonstrated to the participants the latest standards in the field of sound transmission, as well as new features and settings of the company’s software and equipment. The presentation was held by representatives of the company from England and the USA Arthur Podzorsky and Ken Skok.
