We are pleased to invite you to take part in Astana Media Week 2023, which will take place from September 20 to 22 at Kazmedia Ortalygy.

As part of the media week “MEDIA POWER: TRENDS, CHANGES, ETHICS”, leading media industry experts from Kazakhstan and abroad will discuss the current challenges faced by traditional media in the context of a rapidly changing media environment.

The event will discuss ways to build media work in the near future, regulation of the blogosphere in the media legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ethics and responsibility in the information space, digital literacy and data protection. In addition, all guests will be able to participate in the Content Market exhibition, open and closed pitching sessions, as well as the MediaQuiz interactive event.

Astana Media Week 2023 will also include a Regional Media Forum, an informal Media Talks conference and a digital exhibition by Yulia Yuka Kravchenko.
The event will end with the ceremonial awarding of the winners of the National Award in the field of print, radio, and online journalism “Urker” 2023.
