2011 – construction of the building of the TV Radio complex «Astana Media Center» on the territory owned by JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy».
On March 17, 2011 «Teleradiocomplex Management Company» LLP was registered.
On April 25, 2012 by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 518, LLP «Management company «Kazmedia ortalygy», the main activity of which is determined by the functioning of the building «Kazmedia ortalygy» (the name is the initiative of N.A. Nazarbayev) in the city of Astana.
The first broadcast took place on September 1, 2012 at 00:00 on the «Khabar 24» TV channel under the name «24KZ»
In 2012 году «Khabar», «Kazakh TV (Caspio net)», and «Balapan» TV channels began broadcasting.
In 2013 году Kazakhstan», «Kazsport», «Eurasia» TV channels began broadcasting.
In 2014 году the cultural and educational channel «Bilim Zhane Madeniet» began broadcasting.
Today, «Kazmedia ortalygy» houses five TV channels of the country and three radio stations, namely: channels «Khabar», «Khabar 24», «Qazaqstan», «Balapan», First Channel «Eurasia», as well as «Kazakh radio», radio «Shalqar» and radio «Astana».
