On June 14–15, in Astana, the BAQ LIGA table tennis tournament was held in honor of Mass Media Workers’ Day. The competition took place at the “Kazmedia Ortalygy” and brought together representatives from various media organizations.
The tournament was held in two formats — team and individual competitions.
In the team category, the Kazmedia team won the final against the Kazakhstan 2 team with a score of 2:1, securing first place.
In the men’s individual category, the winner was Aibek Moldamuratuly, administrator of the technological LAN (Local Area Network) at the Department of Administration and Maintenance of the Technological Division of the “Kazmedia Ortalygy”. Thanks to his confident and consistent play, he took first place ahead of all competitors.
The BAQ LIGA tournament was not only a sporting event but also an excellent opportunity for participants to strengthen professional ties, demonstrate team spirit, and promote a culture of healthy living among media workers.
