The first day of Astana Media Week ended on Wednesday, September 26 at the Kazmedia Center. The event was attended by 15 television companies, more than 50 production studios, other industry players, and external experts. The participants presented their projects and discussed topical issues of the Kazakhstan media industry. AMW first day began with the opening of the Content Market. It is an effective dialogue platform between the media content customers, major TV and radio companies, as well as representatives of private production market: production studios, creative teams, producers' centers, author's projects in the field of information, media entertainment, music and cinema. Within the framework of the Content Market, a closed professional pitch took place where the production studios presented their projects to the producers of TV channels. ll find their implementation in the Kazakhstan media scene. At the same time, there was an open pitch where everyone was telling about the projects. Also in the Content market, the MediaTalks conference "Professions of the Future" was completed. The speakers were well-known producers, actors, and journalists. They told about their experiences in media and speculated about what skills are needed in the 21st century, who will be in demand in the labor market in the coming years and decades, and which opportunities are provided by the modern technologies. Astana Media Week will last until September 28. It is attended by over 2,000 guests, 60 top managers of media industry of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, 15 national TV channels and more than 50 production companies. The event will include master classes and panel discussions on actual topics of contemporary media market development, a Forum of regional mass media and Astana Digital Forum with the participation of foreign experts.
